Trailer tent roof rack/roof box
Hi
We have recently bought a trailer tent and used it a couple of times. I have heard that a roof rack/roof box can be attached to the trailer tent and was wondering if anyone knows how this is done/do you buy a special kit to do this? |

The trailer tents I hadwere Combi Camps, which have a roof rack fitted (very useful for carrying gear) so I don't know much about other types. Does yours have a soft top or a hard top?
If it has a hardtop then would car fittings work? If it's a soft top then how about those roof bag things you can get? http://www.roof-rack-supplies.co.uk/roof-bag.htm Maybe it could attach to the underneath edges of the trailer? |

They often are monted on a frame that attaches to spaecial brackets on the chassis of the tent. You can get them for Dandys and Pennines I know. The frame has to be lifted off to use the tent of course. They occaisionally come up on ebay.
